The largest international trade fair for the beauty industry in the region, BEAUTYWORLD MIDDLE EAST is taking place at Dubai World Trade Centre from October 30th to November 1st, 2023.
Beautyworld Middle East will welcome buyers and distributors, perfume brands and manufacturers, retailers and wholesalers, professionals from the Industry, media, and many visitors!

Beautyworld Middle East 2023: Fragrance Focus on Niche and Premium Scents
“The fragrance industry in the GCC is expected to double its market value to $10.7 billion by 2027 with a CAGR of 11%. Saudi Arabia and the UAE emerge as the dominant players, constituting the two major markets for perfumes and fragrances in the region.
Fragrance is enjoying a current boom period globally as consumers rediscover niche scents and premium fragrance choices. In 2023, it continues to stand out as a category in true demand, with individual spending rising. The modern-day revival extends into the immersive experience and rise in the wellness sector overall, with development houses and corporate options leading the way.
With the MENA fragrance market growing at a CAGR of 11% during the forecast period (2023-2027) from McKinsey & Co.’s recent analysis, and the UAE and KSA leading the market share followed by Qatar and Oman, global demand is also showing no slowdown this year.
The latest data from January to March 2023, reveals a 15% increase in the US and 10% in the UK. On the back of double-digit sales internationally, the global fragrance market value forecast is set to reach $100 billion by 2027 with a CAGR of 7% according to the report.

15 of the top international fragrance houses will come together at Beautyworld Middle East to create their interpretation of a SIGNATURE SCENT for the show, and I look forward to sampling these creations and vote for one that captures the essence of this exhibition the most!
Curated in a blind sampling format, visitors have to cast there to decide the winner, who will be selected as the official scent for the 2024 edition of Beautyworld Middle East.
The winner of Signature Scent at Beautyworld Middle East 2022 is the Cyber Blend scent by Benoît Vittet, Head of Perfumery at Jean Niel Sas, this exceptional fragrance claimed the coveted award due to its remarkable ability to capture the very essence of the event, boasting captivating notes such as Fiery Saffron, Pink Pepper, and Oudh.
Participants are: CFF, Cosmo International Fragrances, CPL Aromas, EMSA, Eurofragrance, FragranceScience, Iberchem, IPRA, Keva, Luzi, SFA Neroli, Parfessence, Parfex, Ravetllat Aromatics, and Seluz.
Beautyworld Middle East Awards 2023 shall be revealed in various categories during the awards ceremony on October 31st, and the finalists for Niche Fragrance of the Year are Hibiscus Mahajád (Maison Crivelli), Magic Valley (Begim), Myrrhe & Musc (Maison Rebatchi), Oud Latté (Lor Group), and Vanille Riviera (Maison Rebatchi).
Popular Fragrance of the Year finalists: 9 PM – Black (Afnan Perfumes),mHareem Al Sultan Gold Perfume Oil (Al Khadlaj) Perfumes, Miss Laverne (LAVERNE), Song of Oud (Ajmal Perfumes), Yum Pistachio Gelato | 33 (KAYALI Fragrances).
Perfumer of the Year finalists: Belén Garcia (Eurofragrance), Dominique Moellhausen (Moellhausen SpA), Faizal Changampally (V Perfumes), Laura Vera (Chemarome), and Michelle Moellhausen (Moellhausen SpA).

The awards ceremony shall take place on October 31st, and the organizers are rolling out the red carpet for the gala dinner, which will be held at The Grand Hyatt Dubai. The presenter is Katie Overy, one of the most coveted talents, presenters, and voices in the UAE.
Emovation Lab (by Anfasic Dokhoon) shall be launched at Beautyworld Middle East 2023! This futuristic fragrance experience aims to offer a unique opportunity for enthusiasts to create their own personalized scents inspired by their own emotions. The fragrance sector of Beautyworld Middle East will be 25% larger than in the 2022 edition. Finished Fragrance sector exhibitors including UAE based brands such as Nabeel Perfumes, Swiss Arabian Perfumes, Rasasi, Armaf, My Perfumes, Afnan Perfumes, Ajmal Perfumes, and Al Haramain Perfumes. International brands represented include Desire Fragrances from Italy, Surrati Perfumes from Saudi Arabia, and Atyab Al Marshoud from Kuwait.
Another extremely interesting sector is the Fragrance Compounds Category, with participants from Europe like Symrise (Germany), CPL Aromas (UK), Mane (France), Moellhausen (Italy), Iberchem (Spain), Seluz (Turkey), Firmenich and Givaudan, (Switzerland) among many others. WOW! Can’t wait!
