A chemist, an artist, a Master perfumer: Ralf Schwieger.  Blending finely contrasts of precise and measurable -chemistry, and somewhat messy and unpredictable – art, expressing himself in a unique, his way, making perfumes with a personality.

An Original. Chiseling raw materials into perfumes that are works of art, with precision and grace: the sculptor of scents.

Despite the current Covid 19 situation, travel restrictions, and slightly rising numbers, Pitti Fragranze 2021 managed to set protocols to ensure the exhibition at Station Leopolda was held in safety and tranquility. Exactly two years after the last Fragranze event, the 19th edition DID take place 17-19 September, in Florence – always The Most Beautiful.

Pitti  Fragranze 2021 returns to Stazione Leopolda:

“Pitti Fragranze, from 17 to 19 September 2021 at the Stazione Leopolda in Florence, will be the first event in the sector to return to being held in person after the long forced break. We are working to offer you a physical edition in total safety, as has already been the case with the other Pitti fairs that have just ended in Florence.

Industry professionals will return to Florence to live – finally, together – a unique experience and learn more about the most established Maisons and the most innovative brands, immersed in an elegant and refined atmosphere.

The most respected perfumers will present their creations alongside exciting young talents, beauty lines, and the most innovative products related to well-being and self-care—a 360-degree view of an ever-expanding market segment.”

Pensive, meditative, soulful, abstract, and inspiring perfumes of Pitti, plus two bonuses from Sweden: I started my Pitti Fragranze 2019 reports with Roses, moved to Scents, Tastes, and Heritage of Mediterranean, and now it’s time for my last Florence 2019 report.

This took a bit longer than usual because I’ve been busy writing a couple of reviews in the meantime, traveling a bit, procrastinating a little, handling my regular work tasks, and generally slowing down as Autumn rolls in.
