Esxence Milan 2023 – The Art Perfumery Event is getting closer: let’s meet in Milan again, from March 30th – April 2nd! The last edition reached more than 7000 attendees (and it was hot!) – I expect the numbers to be even higher this year.

This year, the exhibition is IRIDESCENT, highlighting feelings the art of perfume creates within us:
“That feeling when you smell a new perfume for the first time.
Those colors explode in your mind.
That synesthetic vision that involves your senses.
That colorful bubble popping at the first sniff suddenly gives you new emotions. “
The location for Esxence Milan 2023 remains the same: Allianz MiCo Milano Convention Center – it’s a big exhibition space, and if you’re attending for the first time, comfy shoes and a bottle of water to keep you hydrated is a must. Spring in Milan is warm and wonderful! Prepare to be overwhelmed, and most probably nose-dead by day 3.
I plan not to plan meticulously my visit this year. It seems to me that I fail to make 100% of any Esxence coverage plans differently every year, simply because it’s just not possible for one single person to cover ALL news, perfume, stands, and brands exhibiting, so this year I’m considering to just follow my nose, and focus on people of perfume.
Esxence Milan 2023 will also offer many events (the events calendar is not finalized yet, so please do check the official website a bit later), workshops, lectures, talks, presentations, and opportunities to meet & chat – plus various events throughout the city – and I shall again report as much as I possibly can, to bring the event closer to you.

Numerous fragrance reviews followed each Esxence event I attended- I do not doubt that this will be the case after Esxence 2023. I’m joyfully looking forward to meeting old and new friends, living, breathing, loving, and talking about perfume 4 days/ 24 hours a day!
The news of this, 13th edition shall be many: the participation of the brands are expected to be higher than ever – 298 of them (95 Italian), coming from 30 different countries, including some new entries from all over the world. Artistic Perfumery shall be represented by well-established and emerging perfume houses, and many a new perfume brand is introducing themselves to the international scene.
The concept guiding all the visitors this year is IRIDESCENT, recalling light and perfume, and perceiving the world in all its shape-shifting beauty, color-shifting wonders, and scent-shifting abundance.
It’s time to shine, and to feel IrideSCENT – see you at Esxence Milan 2023!
