2 Unique Summer Fragrances: What I Did On My Holidays/4160 Tuesdays & Beach Bizarre / Visiteur Review

Hello, Summer 2020!
Although there’s no fragrance law that says you should immediately rotate bottles in your perfume collection after the Summer Solstice, you might start reaching out for a different selection of your summer fragrances as soon as temperatures rise.

I love summer, and to celebrate its beginning here are my reviews of 2 unique summer fragrances: one dates back to 2013 – and the other one is going to be released really soon.
Both could be called Aquatic-oceanic/marine scents, yet both are so much more than just that!

Bonus: you can wear them all year round! Everything is different this year anyway…

Gourmands

You won’t find many reviewed here, simply because I’m very picky about gourmand fragrances family members. I’m also very picky about vanillas, candy notes, or chocolate accords. The level of sweetness plays a role too, as well as the potential presence of fruits. Sugar and spice, and everything nice? Yes, but let’s keep the sugar element low& healthy, please.

Over The Chocolate Shop is my kind of a gourmand.

Dive Beneath the Surface: Atlante / Sarah Baker Perfumes (2019)

Atlante.
I remember it struck me as „interesting“ while I was sniffing and testing literally hundreds of perfumes at Esxence Milano 2019. I noticed then and there that quite a few „aquatic“ fragrances were released!
What was it that caught my attention then? On the first sniff – a refined mineral lightness, adding a strangely fresh silvery-pearly-gray feeling to the fragrance, resembling the scent of crushed, dry, and empty seashells found somewhere on a shore of Atlantic ocean.
