This happens often. I pull out a perfumes sample pack, start testing one by one, taking notes for “drafts&quick sniffs“, and usually the one from which I expect the most, or the one I’m uncertain of mentioning at all -is the last one to be worn and tested extensively on my skin. Unutamam surprised me.
It’s like when you’re on a roller coaster ride. You know that moment where you go quickly over a peak in the ride, and you feel that weird sensation in your stomach? Then you plunge. At that moment, you’re weightless, free of anything pushing or pulling you, it’s exciting and challenging at the same time. Like Etruscan Water…
Eyes closed, I dream about traveling to places near and distant, familiar ones greeting me with a smile, unknown ones calling my name. Travel broadens our mind and expands our hearts, yet there’s something soothingly rewarding in – returning. To yourself. I know well where my safe harbor is. Where my Ithaka is.
Bien–etre. The moment I thought about this phrase, sweet memories surfaced quickly: just last Summer we were getting bucketloads of bien–etre while cruising along winding roads of Côte d’Azur, and the region of Provance–Alps Maritimes…Grasse included, of course! (if you want to find out more about things to do in Grasse, you can find my travelogues here and here). And this is why I was so curious about the Atelier des Ors Riviera Collection in the first place!
There are perfumes that make me smile immediately. Just like that, one spray, and that inner feel-good spark brightens up my day.
I feel then like hugging that perfume, hugging myself and the whole World – to share that feeling, and make you feel the same. Hugging Menta y Menta feels good!
You are surely familiar with that feeling when somebody just mentions a song (or says just one word), and you instantly hear this song in your head, playing on repeat, sticking around for hours, if not days while you catch yourself humming it? What does Royal Blue smell like to you?
