Le Jardin Retrouve has published many interviews with perfumers, perfume lovers, writers, and bloggers in a series named Fragrance Lovers. I’m proud that The Plum Girl blog was featured on their site and grateful to Clara Feder and the whole Le Jardin Retrouve team for the first live Salon I took part in, and the transcript published in LJR Fragrance Lovers posts.
Le Jardin Retrouve, a small, family-owned artisan perfume company is dear to me. I am, let this be clear, a friend and a supporter, not only because Clara and Michael are ever so sweet and gentle people, but because the perfumes they produce are niche in every sense, of the finest French provenience, they have a rich and exceptional history and high-quality standards.
Here’s my report on their Perfume Revival Project, and 4 fragrances.
This will be probably the shortest perfumes travelogue ever written in my blog series: what’s up in Paris?
Everything!
I wanted to write just that and post some photos, but couldn’t resist, so here it goes…The Plum Girl in Paris!
Description of Cuir de Russie by Le Jardin Retrouve recalls The Ballet Russe, the image of great Nijinsky and his soft leather boots. Opera houses, wooden floors, and velvet curtains.
