Dear friends, I’m sharing the most recent official press information with you.
Take care and stay strong: see you in Milan in 2021!
ESXENCE – THE ART PERFUMERY EVENT
WILL BE HELD FROM 11thTO 14th FEBRUARY 2021
A twelfth edition full of novelties with previews and curiosities to be experienced directly online. Stay tuned!
Milan, March 11th, 2020 – Equipe Exibit officially announces that the twelfth edition of Esxence – The Art Perfumery Event, will be held from 11th to 14th February 2021, confirming that the venue will be MiCo, Milano Convention Centre. “The recent developments related to the spread of the Novel Corona Virus in Italy, have led us to assess the current situation very carefully – says Maurizio Cavezzali, CEO of Equipe Exibit.
“The further postponement of the event seemed to us the most correct and appropriate solution to support the institutions and authorities in charge of protecting our health and to guarantee the best safety conditions for our exhibitors and visitors”.
The program and initiatives of Esxence – The Art Perfumery Event will be even more varied and full of novelties. While waiting for the next edition, on the official website www.esxence.com and on social media channels, previews, launches, curiosities, and insights will be published.
Timed to coincide with the event, from 11th to 14th February 2021 in the spaces of MiCo, Milano Convention Centre, will be also holding the second edition of Experience Lab– promoted by the company Experience Me – the appointment dedicated to the niche cosmetics of excellence.
“Through The Mirror” is the theme selected for the 12th edition of this international event, and explained by organizers that are providing a possible answer to the question “What is perfume to you”?
Perfume is actually the mirror of our personality, with the ability to narrate our most deep being and our essence. Yet at the same time it also has the potential to reflect a more concealed, mysterious side of us, a side we have not yet revealed: what we are and what we yearn to be.
The logo features the color of the year, Pantone Classic Blue with one hand reaching out, anticipating new trends.
We’ll also witness a change of location, so we’ll have to get used to MiCo, Milano Convention Centre which is located not really that far away from The Mall (if you get sentimental and just need to walk by the old location).
Brands that shall gain the approval of the Technical Committee shall be placed, same as previously, in two major sections: Main Brands and Spotlights.
There’ll be new content, lectures, and workshops as well, with considerable focus on training and special projects offering innovative teaching methods – to be held in partnership with Politecnico di Milano – Department of Design, for example. The second edition of Experience Lab – dedicated to niche and indie cosmetics goes on too! Osmotheque will be present, and Milano Fragrance Week events are bound to make you run around the whole city each and every day of the exhibition.
Add parties, workshops, educations, lectures….and prepare to be overwhelmed. Well, at least by now I know that my nose will be more or less dead after 3 days of continuous sniffing of hundreds of perfumes! The one most important thing that keeps me hopping around like a Duracell Bunny (besides tremendous amounts of adrenaline) is – people of Esxence. I can’t wait to meet my fragrant friends & brands from all over the world: this will be a grand fair, and a wonderful meeting point for us after all the turmoil we’ve all been through!
I’ll do my best to keep you informed at all times, many reports will surely follow. You can also find many of my previous Esxence reports on the page Perfume News&Events here.
I promise to post as much as I can, write reviews, publish news: let’s help the industry in times of need! Dear brands: do send me your news – let’s make the most of virtual since we have to wait until meeting in person!
