Sarah Baker Perfumes Bascule thrusts off with impeccably-groomed fields of fresh grass, adds a touch of elegance by well-dosed citruses-infused bitterness, canters in a round, balanced frame with neatly arranged and addictive smelling stacks of hay, jumps over a steeple-chase fence wearing high leather boots, and finishes all the combinations and all the rounds of its development in a well-composed way, remaining refined all the way, and through the drydown.

Endless Beauty,  the installation with a deeper meaning caught my eye at the very entrance into MiCO Pavilion 16.  With more than 270 perfume brands exhibiting at Esxence Milan 2022, the offering of fragrances was enormous! Although one person can’t possibly cover all the new perfume launches and brands, here is my choice of fragrances that impressed me the most, plus some insider info you might find interesting!

Sleight of Fern, a new fragrance by Masque Milano (April 2022) is my choice of perfume for the Scent Semantics word of the month: brilliance!

I must admit that this word, chosen by Portia, turned out to be one of the most complicated words to pair a perfume with for me up to now, and I was thinking about it for days…until 2 samples of new perfumes arrived: Sleight of Fern IV-III turned out to be the one!

The perfume I choose is  Fleur de Lalita by Pissara Umavijani (Dusita): as magnolia trees are now in full bloom, big blossoms drunk with Spring, my heart rejoices. Spring smells like hope, this is a beautiful perfume, and here is my story.
